  • Do not swallow your food. Eat less and masticate more. Taking your food hastily is just the beginning of the problem to come. Once in a while in hurry is all right, but if it is in your eating habits then change it immediately. It acts like a slow poison; you will never know why certain things are going wrong in your digestive system.
  • Prefer to observe silence when you take your food.
  • Do not drink water in between the meal. If that necessary take a sip or two, but do refrain from drinking water till at least half an hour after meal. This is very important for the digestion to take place. Do not ever use chilled water from freeze, as it is the first thing to act against a proper digestion.
  • Do not overload the stomach. Best to get up when three quarter of the stomach is full. You do not need to measure in any way but you can certainly feel it.
  • Do not do any strenuous work physical or mental after taking food. The blood supply to brain is reduced just after taking the meal. Digestion in stomach is not in any way a less important job for your body.
